(NBCI) is the industry leader in providing accelerated background check results via digital fingerprinting.  We have taken this technology and applied it to facilitate our Child ID Product that digitally captures all 10 fingerprints, along with the child’s key identifying characteristics and critical medical information.  This information is made available in two formats – electronic and hard copy.

            According to NISMART (National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children) released in October 2002, there are over 797,500 children missing annually or about 2,000 children every day.  The first three hours after a child becomes missing can be the most crucial and having comprehensive identification details at hand and easily accessible is important.

            Our Data Disk, which is the most unique component of our Child ID Kit, contains information in a digital format that is acceptable for Amber Alert notification and easily accessed by most law enforcement officials.  This disk contains all the information you provide to us about your child, including photograph and all 10 digitally captured fingerprints.  The data disk information can also be sent to family members and friends for emergency backup.

            We use a high quality digital scanning system to electronically capture the child’s fingerprints, which virtually eliminates the chances of smeared or unreadable prints. This may occur when using ink as the method of fingerprinting.  In addition, if we feel the fingerprints are unreadable, we can repeatedly capture the fingerprints until acceptable prints are obtained.
